| Tapestries, Woven Art for Your Walls |
Pathway to Giverny |
Including tapestries from paintings by renowned artists such as Howard Behrens and Gilles Archambault, art from the William Mangum collection, William Morris designs and more. |
|
Our tapestries actually originate from oil paintings, often by
noted artists. The images are digitalized and designers transfer the images into
a computer-aided-design, or CAD system. Using digital technology, the design
team uses as many as 90 different weaves or colors in one tapestry for
state of the art looms. This broad palette of color enables a greater detail
and creates a unique signature look for this
fine woven art.
To ensure an opulent look and feel, these superbly woven tapestries are produced using all cotton, or a combination of cotton and rayon yarns. The typical tapestry contains over 12 miles of yarn thus insuring a long life for your tapestry. These tapestries will add a finishing touch to your room, giving it a completed, comfortable look. |
